Truth Telling Forum Report
The Gaimaragal Foundation Indigenous Corporation is a non-profit organisation grounded in the cultural, ecological, and social knowledge systems. We work alongside Elders, cultural knowledge holders, community groups, and partner organisations to embed Indigenous leadership, environmental stewardship, and cultural principles into programs across education, community wellbeing, and environmental practice.
Participant feedback reflected a strong sense of hope, connection, respect, and renewed
commitment to justice. Most attendees expressed eagerness to attend future Truth Telling events
and called for deeper exploration into themes such as local histories, cultural knowledge, care for
Country, experiences of Stolen Generations, and pathways for meaningful allyship. The forum
successfully strengthened community relationships and created a foundation for ongoing
collaborative action.
